With a definite chill in the air and with the Christmas party season around the corner, it’s about time we all start thinking about what we are going to wear this coming winter! Read on to see what Wallis has to offer in it’s new collection…
Wallis Fashion event
When I was invited to a style event for Wallis Fashion recently, I jumped at the chance to see their winter collection. Autumn/Winter is my favourite season when it comes to dressing and experimenting with trends and you all know how much I love shopping so as it fell on a day where all my kiddies were in school/childcare it was win, win, win for me! I was there!!
As myself and a few fellow bloggers arrived we were shown to the personal shopping area in Debenhams and were kindly greeted with drinks (no champers for me though – Damn allergies) and were allowed to jump straight into admiring and trying on the new collections.
Winter style themes
Monochrome ran though a lot of their range. Lots of tonal colours; greys and silvers as well as some prints; subtle hearts, stars and florals. And well, it wouldn’t be winter fashion is there weren’t sequins on offer (it is almost Christmas party season isn’t it?) so yes, the range included some beautiful pieces embellished with sequin details.
Dresses to Love
They had some stunning dresses available from full length wrap dresses to short shift dresses. I tried on this beautiful wrap dress. It’s not something that I’d normally pick up because of the star print but I’m so glad I did! It’s the perfect all-rounder… Dressy but with the capacity to be styled up or down depending on the occasion.
Team it with a leather biker jacket, tights and buckle boots or with a blazer and heels. Either way it’s stunning!
Time to Shine
Their collection had multiple items that were perfect for the coming party season with the right amount of glam. From tops and dresses in full glitzy sequins, christmas jumpers to smart black tailoring with diamonte highlights. There really was something for everyone.
I tried on this silver sequin shift dress with full long sleeves. Absolutely perfect for a Christmas or New Years Eve party!!
Winter Warmers
Personally I love knitwear . Especially an over-sized thick knit and Wallis’ offering didn’t disappoint.
I loved this monochrome chain print roll neck jumper. Styled with some faux leather leggings and boots or over a midi skirt, it’s a great piece that could be worn over and over.
They had some absolutely stunning Faux fur coats too. Photos genuinely don’t do them enough justice. Trust me when I say they are really luxurious and so soft, you won’t want to take them off.
Smart yet casual
Wallis had a number of really pretty blouses in the collection. Some longline and others more cropped depending on what look you are after. I loved the colours on this floral blouse. I tucked it into my ‘Mom jeans’ but it would look equally lovely left out over faux leather leggings with boots or heels.
Finally this cute heart print blouse! Perfect for a day to night look. From work to weekend! A great staple piece that can be styled up or down.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my top picks from Wallis this season.
What’s your favourite piece from the collection?
