I’ve found some gorgeously scented natural products which you can enjoy, without the irritation that often come with synthetically fragranced products. Oak and Stone Organics is a new family run business with a mummy at the heart of it! This gorgeous company was started by Kaylie, who’s little ones sensitive skin prompted her to seek out gentle, natural products. Like so many parents with children with sensitive skin and eczema, finding products that are genuinely free of harsh chemicals can be quite tricky. Kaylie got to work developing a range of natural, vegan and organic, bath and body products… that’s when ‘Oak and Stone Organics’ was born.
Candles that are handmade, natural, pure and vegan-friendly
Since finding out that I’m allergic to perfume and synthetic fragrances, I’ve struggled to find naturally scented candles to enjoy at home. Whilst scrolling on Instagram recently, I came across Oak and Stone Organics and you can imagine my delight when I found out that they offered exactly what I’d been looking for…naturally scented candles! They currently offer one aromatherapy candle ( but watch this space for more) which is made using ONLY natural products; Natural soy wax with added pure essential oils.
Produced from her home in Cumbria, Kaylie has combined essential oils that compliment each other, resulting in a beautifully fragrant candle, perfect for relaxing!

All the things you’d want in a candle. They have a delicate aroma offering a truly aromatherapeutic fragrance without the use of synthetic or harsh chemicals or fragrances. Perfect!!
They don’t contain paraffin, lead core wicks (she uses eco-cotton wicks) and unlike most candles, they don’t contain beeswax so won’t affect the already declining bee population!! Cute!
After seeing my struggles with my skin condition online, Kaylie kindly offered to send me some of her bath products to try. She offers ‘Milk and Oat bags’ as well as ‘Bath Milks’.
Oak and Stones Oat Bags are cute 100% cotton bags that contain organic oats. Used in the bath, the oats help to soften and soothe irritated skin whilst the organic coconut milk offers moisturising properties making these perfect for delicate skin, especially those like me with skin conditions!

Top tip- after each use, hang bag up and allow to dry thoroughly and use again next time! Keep re-using until the water runs clear or there are no longer oats left in the bag! (maximum of two uses)
Organic Bath Milks
Their ‘Little Seedlings Bath Milk’ is a bath additive to help you relax and unwind, whilst also nourishing the skin. Available with a touch of lavender essential oil or just a creamy coconut milk base recipe, you simply mix 2 heaped tablespoons into a running bath, before relaxing and enjoying the benefits of the natural ingredients. Vegan coconut milk powder is used as the main ingredient in their bath milks, an ingredient that contains high levels of Vitamin C, which is proven to help maintain elasticity and flexibility of skin (just what I need!). In addition to the coconut milk, they use epsom salts, sea salt, tapioca starch and bicarbonate of soda. They are so gentle, even little ones (1 month+) can enjoy it.
Not only are Oak and Stones ingredients locally sourced, they are organic, 100% chemical and cruelty free and are vegan friendly! What’s more, you get the choice as to how you receive the product; The bath milks come in a re-usable glass jar (which I must add are just beautiful) or a 600g pouch for example.

They would make the most beautiful gift too as you can ask for dried petals to be included. Totally indulgent? I’m sure these would be right up Stacy Solomon’s street. If you follow her on Instagram you will know she loves a loaded bath!
The verdict
I’ve been burning the candle whilst having a soak and I can honestly say, it smells amazing! It’s a candle that I feel like I should be saving for best but I equally really love the small so want to burn it. The ‘oat milk bags’ have been a great addition to my bath. They genuinely leave you skin feeling softer. I squeeze the oat milk out onto skin to make sure that none goes to waste. Thank you, Kaylie, for producing an amazing product range of natural, non-irritating bath products and such a gorgeous scented candle which can be enjoyed by those who suffer with fragrance and perfume allergies. My home can smell beautiful without irritating me and my skin!!
