I love creamy cocktails but living dairy free for the past few years has meant a lot of these types of cocktails are off limits… or so I thought!
We adapted the recipe of the ‘White Russian’ to make it a creamy dairy free cocktail!
Super yummy and ridiculously simple!
Recipe
Ingredients | Dairy Free White Russian
- 1 x measure of coffee liqueur (Tia Maria or Kalhua)
- 1 x measure of vodka
- 1 x glass full of alternative milk or cream (I prefer Oatly oat drink or Oatly cream (for a decadent creamy version)
- Ice (Cubed)
Cocktail shaker
Method
Pour the coffee liqueur shot and vodka shot into the cocktail shaker along with the cubed ice. Pour in the alternative milk or cream, close the lid and shake! Shake! Shake!
Once you can see a nice froth, pour into your desired glass!
Done!!!
One creamy dairy free cocktail!
TIP
Use cubed ice! Crushed ice will just melt and make the drink watery.
The more you shake the more froth you will get!
Oh and just think, you’re adding to your calcium intake by drinking this too 😉
If you want a real kick double up the shots!
Whilst this recipe is dairy free, make sure however that you consider the following…
